AES consists of a select team of mine ventilation engineers, mining ventilation Officers, Ventilation Technicians, Health, Safety and Environmental specialist, Industrial Hygiene Practitioners. and computer software engineers who are experienced in the theoretical and practical aspects of heat transfer, ventilation and air circulation computer modeling.
Airflow Environmental Solutions is a professional engineering consulting company with connections in various countries. We specialize in solving mine ventilation problems and other subsurface operations and facilities, including those which pose special challenges due to unusual climatic or geologic conditions. AES is experienced in citing and installation of ventilation fans both surface and underground. We conduct detailed engineering studies with modern sophisticated instruments for the purpose of projecting optimal duties and locations of fans, main shafts and airways along with projected operating and capital costs.
AES believes that in order to develop safe, cost-effective ventilation systems and environment we must keep up to date with the latest technologies. We are pleased to have contributed to the industry’s technological achievements and welcome projects that have a strong research component.
AES also conducts Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) surveys. AES now in partnership with CSIR Laboratories in Pretoria, South Africa has the capability to analyze DPM filter samples and institute sampling programs in mining operations.
